A fire has broken out at a multistorey residential building in Mumbai’s Worli
In visuals that have been accessed, the fire is raging at the top-most floors
The building is part of a twin set of residential towers, one of which has a triangle-structure at the top and the other, an inverted triangle. The name of the building is the ‘Beaumonde’.
The fire has broken out in the building with the inverted triangle.
At the time of publishing, four fire-tenders have rushed to the spot.
A level-3 fire broke out at BeauMonde Towers in Mumbai’s Worli on Wednesday, 13 June. No casualties have been reported yet. The multi-storey building houses the residence and office of bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
Around 90 people have been evacuated to safety. According to ANI, at least 10 fire tenders, five jumbo tankers, two hydraulic platforms and ambulances have been rushed to the spot at Appasaheb Marathe Marg in Prabhadevi area.
No one was injured so far in the blaze which was reported at 2.08 pm from the 33rd floor, fire brigade sources told PTI.Mumbai Police tweeted saying its staff as well as the fire brigade is on the spot for assistance.
